“Retention is not a women’s issue: Why do women leave the Tech industry?”
The first Code to Talk in 2017 will be held on March 2nd, titled “Retention is not a women’s issue: Why do women leave the Tech industry?”. This event will be a stakeholders consultation where we invite policy makers and tech leaders for an open discussion. The interactive nature of the event between panelists and the audience is key to address factors that challenge women to remain in their current roles.
There is an ongoing debate around diversity, and how to attract women to the Tech industry. We would like to draw attention to retention of existing female workforce and explore challenges and solutions.
Women leaving the sector is caused by many different personal and industry factors that force women to make decisions about their personal life and career paths.
